Top 5 Drugstore Lipsticks

My favourite lipsticks from the highstreet come from a range of widely available brands and are some of the best budget friendly lip products I've found. While I love a good MAC or YSL lipstick, I think the drugstore is where it's at to find new colours and textures to try before splashing out. This edit includes lipsticks that are longlasting, creamy, easy to apply, not patchy or cakey, don't bleed outside of the lipline and are easy enough to throw in your bag to touch up throughout the day.

In no particular order, we have:
1. E.L.F Matte Lip Colour in Natural
A matte textured pinky nude housed in a slim case with a pointed bullet. It's awesome to apply on the go as no lipliner is needed and it never bleeds. It's slightly paler and pinker than my natural lip colour but doesn't wash me out. It's quite longlasting due to how matte it is but it looks awesome under lipgloss to change the finish.
2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart
This shade will probably be my most worn shade this spring and summer. It's a warm pink shade that's also slightly sheer. I tend to lean more towards sheer and natural lip colours and this one fits the bill. I actually like quite a few colours from this range but this one is my current favourite. It's such a nice way to wear a bold lip.
3. L'Oreal Nutrishine Lipstick in Strawberry Juice
Another sheer lipstick but a little more on the moisturising side of things. I am not a huge fan of bright red lipstick but this one I can manage due to it's sheer and glossy texture. The case is a little clunky but nothing you can't look past.
4. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Notting Hill Nude
Rimmel recently reformulated these lipsticks and I'm incredibly impressed. This lipstick is a beigey nude that feels very moisturising and looks very natural. If my lips are looking a little uneven, I'll chuck this on as it's a very barely there shade for me. I can even get away with wearing it to school!
5. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107
I was obsessed with this shade during autumn and winter last year so it's been used down to a nub but this is actually my second tube! I haven't finished a lipstick other than this one. It has a light, matte texture that sits comfortably on the lips. It does need a little more attention to apply but it's well worth it for the most perfect cold weather lipstick.
