The New Kid On The Block

Many of you who have been reading my blog for a while will know that I am very loyal to only one mascara, Face of Australia Impact Curl. It's cheap, cheerful and gives you amazing definition in a small amount of coats. Basically, It's my holy grail mascara and I never thought I'd find something half as good. That being said, I am always on the hunt for mascaras that will give me a more fluttery and separated effect. I took a leaf from Anna's book and picked this up on a whim, and you know what? It's pretty darn good. I never thought I'd say that about any mascara other than my dearly beloved.

It hasn't quite bumped Impact Curl from top spot but it's pretty darn close and the fact that it's waterproof just makes me love it even more. Sure it can be a pain to remove in the evenings but the trade-off is that you get lovely fluttery lashes that stay curled all day. I did notice it does smudge and flake a tiny bit whereas my Impact Curl doesn't despite it's non-waterproof formula, but the colour is the blackest I've ever seen and It's simply a joy to wear. It is a little more pricey than the Face of Australia offering but there is more product in it. All in all? If you can't get your hand on the Impact Curl, maybe give this one a shot.
