1. What one make up product can't you live without?
Definitely mascara. I've been wearing mascara for so long now that I feel more myself with it on than I do without it! I've never had particularly problematic skin so I've got no issues with going out without a base of foundation/powder etc, but mascara is essential. I have quite big eyes anyway, so I like emphasising them and mascara really opens them up. My holy grail is the One by One Volum' Express by Maybelline.
2. Are you most into skincare, haircare, makeup or nails?
I'd have to say make-up. My skincare routine is really nothing special, I pretty much stick to just an Olay essentials facewash, Bioderma and the Olay beauty fluid moisturiser. The most I ever really do to my hair is curl or straighten it, but my hair is so long that even that can be a chore. When it comes to nails I am absolutely awful at painting them so I usually just stick to one colour and even that ends up smudged usually! With makeup however I love trying out new products and looks because I love the way they can transform your whole face.
3. Who is your style icon?
I'm quite simplistic when it comes to fashion in that I don't really follow trends. I really love classic pieces like Breton tops and trench coats, so people like Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot really inspire me and I think Alexa Chung also channels this vibe really well. I think Lauren Conrad, Mary-Kate and Ashley and Clémence Poésy also all have incredible style.
4. What was your most recent high end purchase?
It's actually been ages since I bought any high-end makeup! I went a bit crazy last year so I've been trying to use up some of my old products before buying anything new, mainly because I ran out of storage space! That said, I did buy Benefit's Coralista blush a few months ago and I absolutely love it!
5. Tell us something about yourself!
I'm really excited because I recently found out that I'm going to be a festival reporter this summer for Motel Rocks at Reading festival. I'm really excited to check out all of the festival fashion, as well as listening to some great music! I'm just praying it doesn't rain!
