1. What one make up product can't you live without?
I absolutely could not live without mascara.  My eyelashes are naturally very pale and straight, and with my pale skin I look very strange and my eyes seem irregularly small without mascara on!  I tend to go for a brown/black colour for a natural daytime look; just to add some definition and curl and then go for layers of the blackest black for a dramatic night time look!  My favourite dramatic mascara is Chanel Inimitable Intense in Noir - it lengthens, volumises, curls and defines and it is honestly the best mascara I've ever used for creating a lovely, full fluttering lash effect!

2. Are you most into skincare, haircare, makeup or nails?
I’m really not that into nails, unlike most bloggers it seems!  I just find them too much hassle and while I try to keep on top of always having a nude colour on my nails to protect them from damage, I just can’t be bothered with the fuss of jazzing them up on a regular basis!  Haircare is something I like, but my hair is just straight and fine, so there’s not a lot I can do with it!  But, when it comes to makeup and skincare I am all over that!  It’s very hard for me to pick between the two because I have such a wide range of both.  Skin care is so important for looking after your skin, preventing wrinkles and allowing you to look your best.  But I think I have to say that I am most into make-up - there’s just an endless amount of possibilities when it comes to makeup and it is so much fun coming up with new looks for each season, day and night!  It’s just turned Spring here in the UK so I’m looking forward to creating some fresh-dewy-faced looks with pastel colours such as soft pinks and getting a bit more of a glow back in to my look after a long, cold winter.

3. Who is your style icon?
I absolutely adore Gwen Stefani! She's got that punky edge to her but pulls off glam-cool so well. With her signature bleach blonde hair and glam makeup finished off with a bold red lip, she is truly gorgeous and striking. She proves that a statement lip can really finish off any outfit, whether it's adding a sophisticated edge or giving a pop to a casual look, a perfect pout is a must.

4. What was your most recent high end purchase?
My most recent high end purchase were a couple pairs of Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes - they’re gorgeous and I’m obsessed!  Bubblegum-scented nude jelly heels with a fabulous gold-trimmed red heart on the front that are utterly ridiculous but so much fun!  But in terms of makeup. my last high end purchase was my Guerlain Rouge G Le Brilliant Jewel Lipstick Compact which I picked up for a bargain price in my local beauty boutique!  I love Guerlain makeup products, they feel so classy and luxurious and never let me down.  They may be expensive, but they are worth every penny!

5. Tell us something about yourself!
I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist who went on to train as an Acupuncturist, specializing in mental health.  Since graduating I have somehow fallen into the world of finance, which is completely different to the direction I, and everyone else, thought I would go in!  I've found that what I miss most is having girly girls to chat to about all things beauty-related, so I started my blog to reconnect with like-minded people and keep myself in the beauty loop!
