Current Favourites

I haven't posted a monthly favourites for quite a fair while so I thought I'd tell you all what I've been loving recently, to keep you updated you know?

Clockwise From Top:
Face Of Australia Budgeproof Cream Eyeshadow in Bronze Sphinx -
Similar in concept to the Maybelline 24 Hour so and so's but a million times better. Granted I wasn't the Maybelline version's biggest fan (too thick and difficult to blend, poor colour selection) I just like this one so much more! It's so light and can be worn quite sheer or built up for a more intense colour, worn on it's own or as a base. In terms of colour, it's similar to the Clinique Chubby Stick for eyes in Lot's O' Latte.

Australis Brow Tint in Light Brown -
This is basically perfectly sculpted yet natural brows in a tube. The colour is a good match for me and the applicator is very interesting as I've really only dabbled in pencils, powders and clear gels. It's like a tinted liquid/mousse hybrid that leaves the brows defined but not clownish or crispy (eugh)

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light -
I'm not really a powder kind of gal but when I saw Estee of essiebutton talking about this my ears perked up. Sheer powder? Intriguing... Does it work? Absolutely. It gives very minimal coverage but sets my makeup and takes away the sheen from under my eyes (my pet peeve) without looking cakey from the concealer, foundation and powder layers.

Bourjois Happy Light Concealer in 21 -
A potential rival for Bobbi Brown's creamy concealer? I'm all over that. High coverage, matte yet brightening finish, fantastic blendability. Need I say more?

Bourjois Bronzing BB Cream -
I've been using this to darken up my winter foundations for summertime use and it works a treat. I personally think using this is better than mixing two foundations and it works out cheaper as this can be used with most foundations rather than having to purchase a summer and winter shade. A must have for every gals makeup bag.

Lanolips Lemonaid -
A beautiful lip balm for the summertime. It tastes and smells incredible and for someone who doesn't drink soda it's a great way to get that lemonade hit without the irritating bubbles. I wear this all the time and find my lips have been ridiculously soft.

Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle -
When I'm not wearing my sheeny Lanolips I'm sure to be wearing this. Intensely hydrating lipstick with sheer colour? Yes please! This is more of an Autumn shade but I'd wear it all year round if I could!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush -
This brush is the perfect foundation brush in my opinion. It is a densely packed buffing brush with synthetic bristles that makes liquid and cream products glide on and blend with minimal effort and gives fantastic, flawless results.
